Earnings Soar at Solar Firms
Two China-based makers of solar-power components, LDK Solar Co. and Trina Solar Ltd., reported soaring profits and sales for the third quarter. But while demand is expected to continue increasing for the alternative-energy source, Trina Solar tamped down expectations for the full year.
